SIA Members raise more than £2000 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Members and Guests at the 2023 Solvents Industry Association Annual Conference raised a record £2,010 for Macmillan Cancer Support through their traditional raffle.

SIA Chief Executive, Andrew Norman said, ‘Macmillan Cancer Support was the charity chosen this year due to the outstanding work that is carried out for people affected by cancer. Their support was indeed required this year by a relative of one of our Members, without which, coping from day to day would have been almost impossible. The record amount raised on the night was fantastic and the generosity of our Members continues to astound!’

In a message to SIA Members, Sarah Peet, Relationship Fundraising Manager with Macmillan Cancer Support said, ‘Thank you for your wonderful donation following your raffle fundraising in September and for sharing the reasons why you have chosen Macmillan Cancer Support as your charity. It is thanks to the dedication and generosity of people like you that we can continue to do whatever it takes for people living with cancer’.
